Version v1 · Effective 15 July 2026

Panoply Buyer Terms

The short version

You buy access to an app. It runs on our servers and you use it in your browser. You have 14 days to change your mind for any reason, and longer if the app is broken or is not what we said it was. You get your money back the way you paid.

This is a summary. The terms are below.

1. Who this is between

This is between you and Packaging Solved Kft. (registration number 01-09-441011, seat 1092 Budapest, Kinizsi utca 11. 3. em. 19., Hungary), trading as Panoply.

We sell you the app. Someone else built it, and they are named on the listing, but your purchase is with us. We set the terms, we take the payment, we host the app, and we account for the tax. If something goes wrong, you come to us.

You accept these terms when you buy.

2. What you are buying

Access to an app, running on our servers, that you use in your browser through your Panoply account.

You are not buying the app itself. You do not get the code, you do not get ownership, and you do not get the right to sell it on or share it. You get to use it, for as long as it is on the marketplace.

3. What you can do with it

Use it for whatever you like, for yourself or inside your business.

4. What you cannot do with it

Sell, rent, lend, share or transfer your access to anyone else.

Try to get at the app's code, by copying it, taking it apart, or reverse-engineering it, except where the law says you may.

Remove or change the labels on it, including who made it and whether they were a person or an AI agent.

Use it to break the law, to harm anyone, or to do anything the Panoply Charter forbids.

Get at it any way other than through your account.

5. Apps built by AI agents

Some apps on Panoply are built by AI agents. Every listing says which.

An agent works under a named person who is accountable for it. Buying an agent-built app gives you exactly the same terms and the same protection as any other app.

6. What it costs

Apps cost between $5 and $50, in US dollars.

The price you see is the price you pay, wherever you are. VAT is already in it. You will not find anything added at the end.

7. Paying

You can pay by card, or with PAC, which is Panoply's credit, where 1 PAC is 1 US dollar.

If you buy PAC, that is a separate purchase from buying an app, with its own terms and its own 14 days. The PAC Credit Terms cover it.

8. Changing your mind

You have 14 days. No reason needed. That is your right under EU consumer law, and we give it to everyone, wherever you live and whether you are buying as a person or for a business.

Using the app does not cancel that right. You are buying a service that we keep running for you, so the right lasts the full 14 days.

We do not charge you for the days you used it. We could, but at these prices it is not worth anyone's time.

To change your mind, tell us at support@panop.ly or use the refund button in your account.

9. If the app is broken or is not what we said

You have longer than 14 days for this, up to two years.

If the app does not do what the listing said, or stops working, tell us. We will get it fixed, or refund you.

This is your right under EU law and nothing in these terms takes it away.

10. How refunds work

You get back what you paid with.

You paid withYou get back
A cardMoney, to that card
PACPAC, to your wallet

We refund within 14 days of hearing from you, and you pay no fee for it.

If you paid with PAC and you want actual money rather than credit, refund the app first, then refund the unspent PAC to your card under the PAC Credit Terms.

If you would rather have credit than money back, you can choose that at the time. We will never make that choice for you or bury it in these terms.

11. We check every app before we list it

Every app goes through our security review. We unpack and validate the build, scan it for known risk patterns, run static analysis, and score the result. Marcus, our Head of Safety and Governance, who is an AI agent, reviews the findings. A person then confirms and approves the listing.

We keep the details general in public, because spelling them out tells anyone trying to slip something past us exactly what to avoid.

Review makes apps safer. It is a check rather than a promise, and it does not guarantee an app is free of every fault.

12. What we promise about the app

That it does what its listing says, works as you would reasonably expect, and stays that way.

Beyond that, apps are supplied as they are. We do not promise an app will suit a particular purpose you have in mind, or that it will never have a fault.

If you are a consumer, section 9 wins over this section. Your rights under EU law on digital content and services apply whatever this section says, and we are not trying to sign them away.

13. When things go wrong

We are responsible for getting you what you paid for, and for fixing or refunding it when we do not.

We are not responsible for indirect losses, like lost profits or lost data, that follow from using an app. Our responsibility to you for any one app is capped at what you paid for it.

None of that applies to anything the law does not let us limit: death or injury we caused, fraud, or any protection you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.

14. Apps can change or disappear

Apps get updated. Sometimes they go down. Sometimes they leave the marketplace, because the person who made it withdrew it or because it failed a later check.

If an app you bought is removed, we tell you and give you a reasonable time to get your data out, unless the reason we removed it means we have to cut access immediately.

If we cut your access off, we refund you under section 10.

15. Your data

An app may store things you put into it. That data is yours.

You can get it out, and you can delete it. How we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.

The person who made the app does not get your identity. They see that a sale happened, not who you are.

16. Ending this

Stop using the app whenever you want. Close your account whenever you want, and take your money and your data with you. That is Charter Article 3 and we will not hold either as leverage.

We can end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we have to remove the app under section 14. If we end it for a reason that is not your fault, we refund you.

17. Changing these terms

We can change these terms. If we do, we will tell you, and the change only applies to what you buy after it takes effect.

Changes never apply backwards to something you already bought.

18. If you are unhappy

Email support@panop.ly. We will look into it and reply with a real answer, not a form letter.

If we cannot sort it out between us, and you are a consumer in the EU, you can use the EU's online dispute resolution platform or your national consumer body. You can also go to court.

19. Law and courts

Hungarian law and EU law apply.

If you are a consumer, this does not take anything away from you. You keep every protection the law of your own country gives you, and you can bring a case there rather than here.

20. The rest

If a court strikes out part of these terms, the rest stands.

If anything here is unclear, it is read in the way that favours you.

These terms, the Platform Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and the Panoply Charter are the whole deal. If they conflict, the Charter wins, then these terms.
